Our History

With over a decade of turning ideas into impact, the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT) is redefining higher education in India. Evolving from the legacy of the Indian Institute of Art and Design established in 2015, we carry forward our pioneering ‘thinking through making’ pedagogy, deep industry connections and immersive project-based learning—now expanded into a vibrant ecosystem across design, management and technology that challenges the status quo of conventional learning.
